Edgy Eco-decadent designers from across the state will gather in Escondido to preview their socially relevant arte-couture and prêt-a-porter designs.  All garments and accessories are constructed, assembled and embellished using conventional and non-conventional elements including thrifted, reconditioned and trashed materials.  "Every year this event sells out, so we needed a bigger venue to accommodate the Recycled Art, Lounge and Runway activities," says event coordinator Kellene Richetts Nguyen. Map Event Location: Ca. Ctr. for the Arts Museum 340 N. Escondido Blvd. CCAE Museum.
EAP Board Member Don Manor remarks, "This year the Escondido Arts Partnership is collaborating with the California Center for the Arts Escondido to present a visual art in motion event which celebrates how creative and fun recycling can be!"

The Recycled Materials Runway Event features artwork and fashion designs, with a focus on student and emerging fashion designers.
