Donna Blanton
& Linda Shaffer
 



Biography Donna Blanton:

 Donna Blanton has been painting commissioned portraits, figure studies, murals, landscapes and still lifes for over 30 years. Capturing a
person's personality and likeness with a painterly stroke of the brush is her favorite challenge. Mostly self-taught, Donna returned to college after
raising her family and earned her Bachelor's Degree in fine art at San Diego State University in 2004.

Her work is also shown at Ginger Grayham Fine Art in Carlsbad and the Carlsbad Oceanside Art League Gallery. Her painting of "Sharon" won
firstplace in COAL's 55th annual open juried awards show, Art Visions 2005.

The painting of "Birke" was selected for the Las Vegas, New Mexico, Arts Council's 15th Annual Faces of Women National Juried Art Exhibition in
March 2005. Her work has been exhibited in various other local venues, such as the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, St. Tropez Cafe & Bistro
Gallery, San Diego, the San Diego Salon 2003 Invitational at Art College International, and the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar, 2008.

Biography Linda Shaffer:
Linda Shaffer is an award winning Southern California artist.  Her sense of humor and passion for the abstract can be seen in her mixed media works, painting, prints, wall hangings, jewelry and masks.   She finds the artistic experience tremendously satisfying and takes inspiration from the joy of living.    She always works in a variety of mediums at one time which satisfies her intense desire to create.  Currently you can find her work at the Carlsbad Oceanside Art League, Escondido Arts Partnership, and her jewelry can be seen at the Front Porch Gallery in Carlsbad, CA.   She is also the Designer and Owner of Jewelry and Art 54 and can be reached at jewelryandart@roadrunner.com

Application:

Email your contact information, resume/bio, and digital images of a selection of your work.

 

 

 

Guidelines:

1. All Featured artists must be members.   

2. Rental fee of $350.00 for a calendar month payable in advance, cash or check payable to the EAP. 1st business to the last business day of the EMG. 

3. 10% commission on all sales during or as a result of the exhibition. Commission will be paid within 30 days after the end of the exhibition.  Sold pieces maybe replace with new work.

4. Space can be shared by two or more people but one person must be responsible for payment of the entire fee and all related duties of the show. 

5. Artist(s) are responsible for layout, hanging their work and take down of the show. 

6. Artist link will be listed on the website for 12 months.

7. The EAP will post Featured Artist information provided in a digital file by the artist on the website with artist’s bio, resume, and one or two images and/or link to their own website.           

8. A three person committee of 2 members of EAP Board of Director and the Executive Director will have final approval of the review and select each featured artist(s) from the applications.          

9.  EAP will send an email announcement regarding each to the public.
